ITINERARY
Nairobi National Park Begin your birding journey at Nairobi National Park, an urban wilderness known for its impressive bird diversity. With over 500 bird species recorded, you’ll have the opportunity to see species such as the Kori bustard, Secretary bird, and even migratory species, depending on the season.
Nairobi to Amboseli After a morning of birdwatching in Nairobi, you’ll head to Amboseli National Park. The drive offers scenic landscapes and birding stops en route. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation as you prepare for the Amboseli birding experience.
Amboseli National Park Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. But it’s also a birder’s haven, home to over 420 species. Spend the day observing waterbirds around its marshes, including flamingos, African jacanas, and herons. Don’t miss the dry savannah species like the Yellow-throated sandgrouse and Tawny eagle.
